About Me

Teaching in secondary school has taught me how fragile our young people’s mental health is. They face exam pressure, peer pressure, social media concerns, relationship issues, family worries and self-image crises. If mental health needs are not addressed early, young people become adults who face a lifetime struggling with past issues and future anxieties.

We, as adults, need to teach our children how to regulate their emotions and manage difficult times with resilience. However, many of us also struggle with this. Adults face daily stress with financial worries, unfulfilling jobs, relationship issues, physical illness through bad habits like smoking or drinking, self-doubt, self-loathing, imposter syndrome. How do we help our young people when we need help ourselves?

I have children myself, and have faced difficult times supporting them through their own mental health needs. I am passionate about supporting people of all ages, to learn strategies to manage their emotions with resilience and courage and to feel and know their self-worth.

Through personal counselling I have found my own strength and my own self-worth. I have turned my life around from heartache to positivity and happiness. I have also removed alcohol from my lifestyle and have seen the world open up to me as I find my own, more effective, ways to manage my emotions moving forward.

Making changes is the only way through tough times.

Working with clients using NLP, Hypnotherapy and Counselling and coaching, has shown me incredible results:

A simple shift in our mindset can change our entire perspective and outcome. Identify the behaviour or thought pattern that is holding you back, change it and see yourself living the unlimited life you always dreamed of.

How Can I Help You?

Identifying what needs to change

Sometimes we struggle to move forwards in our lives due to issues from our past. Talking things through with a therapist who listens without judgement and acknowledges you can help you find what is holding you back and we can work together to disempower that block and remove any limitation. We will always work at your pace and toward your desired outcome.

Reframe, Refresh, Renew, Rise

Some clients know exactly what they want when they work with me and others explore their future options by discovering what is holding them back and just what they are capable of achieving once those self-limiting beliefs are removed. Life is challenging and at times we may make choices that limit us – together we can remove the habits, beliefs and behaviours which do not serve you, whether that is smoking, excessive drinking or eating, putting yourself last, lacking self-confidence, worrying or any other negative thinking.
